About Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has been established by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, to act as a think-tank and a centre of excellence to support the growth of the corporate sector in India through an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach. The Hon’ble Minister for Corporate Affairs is the President of IICA. The Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, is the Chairperson of the Board of Governors, which also has many eminent personalities drawn from different fields. IICA has been mandated to offer capacity building and advisory solutions to the government, statutory authorities, the private sector, etc.

About the Internship

IICA invites applications for its Internship Programme, offering students and young professionals an opportunity to gain practical exposure to corporate affairs, policy research, and governance-related work. Interns are engaged across various schools, centres, and departments of IICA depending on institutional requirements.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B (final year preferred)
• Students from related disciplines (management, economics, etc.)
• Young professionals who have completed their studies within the last 6 months
• Applicants must not be engaged in any other employment

Duration

• Minimum: 1 month
• Maximum: Up to 6 months (extendable based on performance and requirement)

Stipend

• ₹10,000 per month (subject to satisfactory performance)
• May be reduced to ₹5,000 if accommodation is provided
• In some cases, unpaid internships may be offered

Responsibilities

• Assist in research, policy work, and ongoing projects
• Work under assigned supervisor/guide
• Submit reports, assignments, and presentations
• Participate in institutional projects and capacity-building initiatives

Number of Interns

• Up to 10 interns per month (extendable to 15)

Gurugram (IMT Manesar), Haryana

Hybrid mode (as per organisational discretion)

There is no fixed last date to apply.

Applications are accepted throughout the year, and the Internal Selection Committee usually reviews them in the first week of every month.

For summer/winter cycle internships, a separate notification with deadlines may be issued.
