The firm primarily focuses on taxation laws, including Customs, Goods and Services Tax (GST), erstwhile Central Excise and Service Tax laws, import-export matters, Foreign Trade Policy (DGFT), Free Trade Agreements, trade promotion matters, SEZ and EOU regulations, FEMA, Company Law, Banking Laws, and NCB-related matters. The firm regularly represents clients before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) and other quasi-judicial authorities.

About the Internship
HNM Legal Services is offering an on-site internship programme for law students seeking practical exposure to indirect taxation and regulatory laws. Interns will have the opportunity to work on live matters involving customs, GST, and related legal issues while gaining experience in legal drafting and litigation support.
Eligibility
- Students currently pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme or a 5-year integrated law programme.
- Preference will be given to final-year law students.
- Candidates with proficiency in legal drafting and interpretation of statutes will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting appeals, replies, and legal submissions.
- Work on live customs, GST, and other indirect taxation matters under supervision.
- Support legal and case-related work undertaken by the firm.
