About the Internship

The Law Office that I am associated with has vacancies for at least 4 – 5 Interns. Interns will be provided with a work desk and an office system to work on. Interns wishing to work on individual laptops will be accommodated as well.

Candidates looking for a 1-month-only internship may kindly refrain from applying.

Eligibility

Past experience has suggested that people from far-off areas/places outside of Mumbai have applied. If outstation Interns are applying, I will request them to make their own travel and lodging arrangements for the tenure of the Internship. Students living and studying in far-off areas must note that office timings are 10 AM – 7 PM, some relaxation may be permitted, but only if they can commit to attending the office regularly may they apply.

Interns who are motivated, spirited, serious, hardworking, honest and work with integrity will be selected. I generally do not judge based on past work experience, grades, and number of moot court competitions participated in.

Responsibilities

The work profile is litigation-based. Interns will be expected to work on case filings, drafting, research work, Note taking, and visiting Courts on a daily basis, and assisting the Office Associates with the matters before the High Court, DRT, City Civil Court and Mazgaon Court.

Stipend

Monthly Stipend will be provided to the Interns.

Location

The Office is in Fort, Mumbai.
