About the Organisation

The Geeta Institute of Law (GIL), situated on NH-44 (formerly NH-1), G.T. Road, Panipat, Haryana, is conveniently located about 50 minutes from Delhi. Established in 2007, GIL is affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

The Institute has earned a distinguished reputation among India’s premier legal education institutions, securing national rankings including 2nd among the Top Outstanding Law Schools of Excellence in India by CSR, 3rd among the Top Law Colleges of Haryana by India Today, and 18th among the Top Outstanding Law Schools of Excellence in India by GHRDC. GIL follows a student-centric, practice-oriented pedagogy through moot court competitions, legal drafting exercises, case law analysis, internships, and legal aid programmes, supported by a dedicated Internship and Placement Cell.

About the Seminar/Conference

Geeta Institute of Law is organizing an International Seminar on the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Inclusive Growth: Transforming Law, Management, Commerce and Society” on 26th November 2026 (Thursday).

The seminar seeks to provide a dynamic interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, corporate executives, and students from across the globe to engage in meaningful dialogue on AI’s evolving role in fostering inclusive and sustainable development, while exploring emerging legal frameworks, ethical governance, responsible AI, digital inclusion, data protection, and policy reforms.

About Call for Papers

Original, unpublished research papers are invited from academicians, researchers, legal professionals, industry experts, and students on any of the sub-themes listed below, in alignment with the seminar’s overarching theme.

Eligibility

Open to academicians, research scholars, students (UG/PG), legal professionals, policymakers, industry practitioners, and corporate executives — both Indian and international participants. There can be only one author and one co-author per paper; inclusion of more than one co-author results in automatic disqualification.

Submission Categories (Sub-Themes)

Formatting Guidelines

  • Main text: Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10, single line spacing
  • Margins: One inch on all sides
  • Citation style: ILI Rules of Footnoting
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words, including up to 5 keywords, with a cover page stating sub-theme, paper title, author name(s), email address, postal address, and contact number

Submission Guidelines

  • Full paper length: Minimum 4,000 words, maximum 6,000 words (exclusive of footnotes)
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished; plagiarism of any amount attracts immediate disqualification
  • Presentations will be conducted in hybrid mode (online/offline); international participants present via Zoom or Google Meet

Registration Fees

Indian Participants:

  • Students: Rs. 800/-
  • Research Scholars: Rs. 800/-
  • Academicians and Professionals: Rs. 1500/-

International Participants:

  • Students: USD 20
  • Research Scholars: USD 30
  • Academicians and Professionals: USD 40

(Fee includes seminar kit, tea, and lunch; registration fee is non-refundable)

  • Participants must first pay the registration fee via NEFT/RTGS or online payment (Paytm, Google Pay, etc.) to:

After payment, participants must fill the official registration Google Form and upload a screenshot/receipt of payment as confirmation. In case of co-authorship, both authors must register and pay separately.

Important Dates

  • Submission of Abstract: 15th October 2026
  • Confirmation of Abstract: 17th October 2026
  • Last Date for Registration & Fee Payment: 19th October 2026
  • Submission of Full Paper: 30th October 2026
  • International Seminar: 26th November 2026 (Thursday)

All dates shall be strictly followed.

Submission Procedure

Abstracts must be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line “SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT FOR INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR” on or before 15th October 2026. Full papers must be emailed to the same address with the subject line “SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPER FOR INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR” on or before 30th October 2026. All delegates are requested to bring one hard copy of the original full paper and ID proof to the seminar.
