About the Conference

The digital revolution has radically reshaped human rights and constitutional liberties, outstripping the capacity of traditional legal frameworks. While artificial intelligence, global networks, and internet access empower free speech and democratic engagement, they also give rise to systemic vulnerabilities. Pervasive state and corporate surveillance, algorithmic bias, data breaches, and digital censorship directly threaten fundamental constitutional guarantees.

Moreover, the concentration of power in tech monopolies has privatized the public square, complicating the boundary between state and private regulation. This conference interrogates these tensions, investigating how constitutional principles can be dynamically evolved, updated, or engineered to protect human dignity, autonomy, and equity in an automated society.
