About the Opportunity

The Department of Law, Manipal University Jaipur, in association with Green Horizon Club, is organising the 2nd Edition of the International Client Counselling Competition (Hybrid Mode), offering law students the chance to develop and showcase their client counselling skills in both simulated online and offline settings. The competition emphasises legal analysis, communication skills, ethical reasoning, and teamwork, with a fair and rigorous evaluation process.

Theme

The competition problems span various areas of law, with a primary focus on both international and domestic issues. Themes include:

• International Environmental Law
• Intellectual Property Rights
• International Humanitarian Law
• Dispute Resolution
• International Contract Law
• International Maritime Law
• Climate Change Law
• Biodiversity Law
• Pollution Control Law
• Natural Resources Law
• Land Use and Zoning Law

Eligibility

• Open to students currently enrolled in three-year or five-year integrated law degree programs at any recognised University/College/School/Department of Law.
• Students in LL.M. or equivalent postgraduate programs, diplomas, or certificates, or part-time law programs are not eligible.
• Each institution can register a maximum of three teams (two members per team).

Registration Fee

• INR 3,500 per team (non-refundable).
• Accommodation fee (for finalist teams) is separate.

Prizes

• Winner: Cash Prize of INR 20,000 + Trophy & Certificate (for both counsels)
• Runner-Up: Cash Prize of INR 10,000 + Trophy & Certificate (for both counsels)
• Best Counsel: Cash Prize of INR 5,000 + Trophy & Certificate
• Best Client: Trophy & Certificate

• After form submission, participants will receive a payment link.
• Only upon both form submission and payment, the registration is considered complete.
• Each registered team will be assigned a unique Team Code and a student coordinator.
• Finalist teams (qualifying for the Final Round) will be provided accommodation and local transport.
