About the Opportunity

ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University, Dehradun is proud to announce its “Ink of Impartiality: Inter-University Judgment Writing Competition 2.0” at the National Level in Virtual Mode.

Eligibility

• LLB three-year or five-year courses during the current academic year (for both teams from The ICFAI University, Dehradun and any other Law Institution/ College/ University).
• Students graduate with a law degree from any recognized Institution/ College/ University.

There is no cap on the number of teams from any particular Institution/ College/ University.

Dates of the Competition – 27^th December, 2024 & 7^th January, 2025.

Awards

• Winning Team: Rs.8000/- Cash Prize+ Certificate of Merit + Trophy
• Runner-up Team: Rs.5000/- Cash Prize+ Certificate of Merit + Trophy
• Best ICFAI Team: Rs.3000/- Cash Prize+ Certificate of Merit + Trophy
• Participants: E- Participation Certificate

Registration Process

 The last date for Final Registration is 24^th December, 2024.

The teams can register by filling the Google form. The Final Registration process would be concluded only after full registration fee payment.

A registration fee of Rs. 300/- per team (in both cases of single authorship and co-authorship) is to be paid online.

The fee once paid will not be refunded.

If a team drops out of the competition or is disqualified, the team next in line as per registration data (When the registration exceeds the permitted teams) will be offered the chance to participate in the competition at short notice.

Team Composition

Team Comprising a maximum of two members is allowed. In the case of two members, one is to be designated as an author and the other as a co-author. In case one member in a team, the member would be designated as an author.

Guidelines for Judgment Submission

• The front page must have the Team Code and name of the Competition. The team shall not reveal their identity anywhere in the submission. Non-abidance to such will lead to disqualification.
• The font size must be 12 in Times New Roman.
• The word limit is 2500-3000.
• The line spacing must be 1.5.
• Each page must have a margin of at least 1 (one) inch on all sides.
• The font size of footnotes/endnotes, if any, must not be less than size 10.
• A uniform method of citation of authorities must be followed.
• The submission must be made in pdf format.
• The page number must be mentioned at the bottom centre of each page.
