Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) is a public law school and a National Law University located in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It was named after the former Chief Justice of India, Mohammad Hidayatullah. It is one of the autonomous law schools in India and seventh in the series of such national law schools.

About the Opportunity

Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, has invited applications for admission to its Ph.D. Programme 2025–26. The University offers two research streams, viz. Ph.D. in Law and Ph.D. in Law and Inter-disciplinary Studies.

The programme seeks to nurture cutting-edge research and innovation in diverse areas including Constitutional Law, International Law, Human Rights, Law & Technology, Intellectual Property, Environmental Law, Corporate Governance, Public Health Law, Privacy & Data Protection, and Tribal & Indigenous Law and Policy.

The selection process comprises an All-India Written Test followed by a Presentation of Research Proposal. Candidates qualified under UGC-NET or SLET are exempted from the entrance test.
