Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, consent must be free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous, and just as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Complying with this takes more than a checkbox on a website: organisations must design a working consent system that runs from the first notice to the final withdrawal.

- AI Governance Under the DPDP Act: Frameworks for Valid Consent – how organisations deploying AI can meet the Act’s standard of free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent when processing personal data.
- The ₹250 Crore Compliance Mandate: AI Governance and Valid Consent Under DPDP – the Act’s penalty framework, with penalties of up to ₹250 crore, and why consent and governance failures carry real financial risk.
- The DPDP Vulnerable Data Mandate: Operationalising Consent for Minors and Persons with Disabilities – verifiable consent of parents and lawful guardians, and how to build it into real-world systems.
- Cross-Border Transfers After DPDP: Navigating India’s “Permitted Until Prohibited” Regime – how transfers outside India are allowed unless the Central Government restricts them, and what that means for consent and data flows.
- DPDP in BFSI – applying the Act in banking, financial services and insurance, alongside existing sectoral regulation.
