Free 2-Day Certificate Workshop by VIDIKSHA IP: Preparation of Examination Report Responses (Trademark Prosecution) | Real Registry Matters, Live Drafting | 24–25 October

About the Organisation
VIDIKSHA IP is a practice-first platform for intellectual property law in India, built on one conviction: IP law is learned by doing. Every VIDIKSHA session works on a live file, a real examination report, hearing notice or licence, drafted on screen from first reading to final prayer, so participants leave with a method they can use on their own matters the next morning. VIDIKSHA also runs a free, searchable repository of 12,000+ Indian IP judgments at vidiksha.in/research, and every session comes with a Certificate of Training.
About the Opportunity
Every trademark application meets the same gatekeeper: the examination report. Objections under Section 9 and Section 11 arrive within weeks, and the applicant has one month to answer. That reply decides whether the mark is advertised, sent to a hearing, or quietly refused.

It is the most frequent piece of trademark work in India and the least taught. Most juniors have never read a real examination report, never found the actual objection hiding in the standard paragraphs, and never written the reply that clears it. The ones who can are the ones firms hire.
Over two evenings, VIDIKSHA IP will take you through real Registry examination reports and draft the responses live on screen, paragraph by paragraph. Bring your own examination report; we will work through it.
In two days you will learn to:
- Read a Registry examination report in minutes and find the real Section 9 or Section 11 objection
- Choose the route for each objection: inherent distinctiveness, acquired distinctiveness, distinguishing the cited marks, consent, or limiting the specification
- Structure a reply the way the Registry expects it, within the one-month deadline
- Build the evidence index that hearing officers actually read: user affidavits, invoices, advertisements, market presence
- Draft the complete response live, on two or three real examination reports, and take the drafts home
Why You Should Not Miss This
- Real Registry examination reports, not textbook hypotheticals
- Live drafting on screen, start to finish, with your questions answered as we go
- Certificate of Training from VIDIKSHA IP on successful completion
- Session recording and your certificate in your own VIDIKSHA learning portal
- Membership of the VIDIKSHA IP community on WhatsApp, where practitioners compare notes on real objections
- Completely free. The same workflow is taught in paid courses for thousands of rupees
This is the skill that is asked for in interviews, tested in internships and used from the first week on the job. Two evenings are all it takes to have it.

Anyone can file a trademark application. Very few can take the examination report that follows, find the real objection, choose the right route, build the evidence and put their name to a response that clears the mark. In two evenings, that will be you. Reserve your seat before the 23rd.
