Based on the vision and mission of the VIT-AP University, the VIT-AP School of Law (VSL) was established to impart legal education.

About the FDP and the Opportunity

Higher education institutions must transition from traditional content-based learning to a robust Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework to ensure that students acquire essential Competencies aligned with global academic and professional standards. OBE emphasizes Measurable learning outcomes, skill-oriented education, and continuous quality enhancement, fostering a learner-centric paradigm that integrates innovative pedagogical methodologies and Comprehensive assessment mechanisms.

 In response to the increasing demand for effective OBE implementation, this five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) is designed to provide academicians in Law, Social Sciences, Engineering, and Management Studies with in-depth knowledge and strategic insights into Curriculum design, assessment methodologies, and pedagogical innovations. The program aligns with national and international accreditation frameworks, including those prescribed by NAAC, NBA, and global best practices.

Certification Criteria

E-Certificates of Participation will be awarded only to participants who meet the following 

Requirements:

• 55% minimum attendance throughout the FDP
• Successful completion of the online test.
• Timely submission of feedback forms after each session and at the end of the FDP.

The faculty development program is open to all. Faculty members, Researchers, Industry and Academic Trainers, and Education Enthusiasts who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of innovative contemporary teaching methods and wish to attain hands-on learning experience, are invited to attend the event.
