CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR was born out of the educational vision of St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. He founded the first Catholic indigenous congregation, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), in 1831, which administers CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR. 

About the E-Workshop

The Litigation Committee is planning to conduct an online workshop on the topic Procedural Stages of Civil Cases in Trial Courts of India. This will allow law students to develop and hone their litigation skills on a practical level by offering them an insight into the basics of the real-life aspects and stages of the criminal trial in Indian courts, bridging the gap between the theoretical study of the Civil Procedure Code and its practical application. 

The main objective of the E-Workshop is to obtain a basic understanding of the actual procedural stages of criminal cases in the trial courts of India. 

About the Speaker

The Speaker, Adv. Vighneshwar, ADR and Dispute Resolution, Wadhwa Law, Bangalore has 3 years of experience in the field.

Who can attend?

Law students of colleges across the country are invited to attend the workshop. The workshop can be attended by all interested law students free of cost. No certificates will be provided.
