Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) is a National Law University located at Sabbavaram, Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh, India constituted by the DSNLU Act, 2008. It offers 5 year integrated B.A LLB. (Hons.) course to eligible Undergraduate students based on the Common Law Admission Test centralized admission process. The University offers postgraduate courses also, including the one-year LL.M. programme and, PhD and LL.D. programmes.
About the Opportunity
Damodaram Sanjivayya Legal Incubation Centre, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam, is glad to inform you that we are organizing a CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION 7.0 – National Level Competition. CSI is the flagship event of Legal Incubation Centre. It is conducted since 2017. CSI 6.0 was conducted on March 18, 2025 with the theme “Science, Sustainability & Sacrifice”.

The competition had about 60 teams, 3 participants in each team. It witnessed participation of students from a wide range of law schools across the country. Significant number of students from other disciplines have also shown keen interest in taking part in the competition.
Theme
Crime Scene Investigation.
The goal of CSI is to gain further insights into the circumstances surrounding a crime by utilising material proof from the crime scene and applying inductive and deductive reasoning to analyse it. It is a multidisciplinary process that includes a structured search of the crime scene, careful observation and documentation of the scene, photography, sketching, identification, processing, and gathering of physical evidence, including blood and hair samples, fibres, biological fluids, fingerprints, footprints, and other material evidences, importantly; the application of participants’ observational skills and reasoning abilities with legal and logical aptitude.
Eligibility
Team of 3 students. Students of any discipline can take part in the competition.

- Third Prize- INR 7,500/-
- Consolation Prize- INR 5,000/-
