About the Competition

The National Essay Writing Competition on Cyber Security Law is organized by Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh.

Keeping in mind its aim to foster further the Faculty of Legal Studies is conducting a National Essay Competition on Cyber Security Law and Policy (the Event / Essay Competition). Participating authors are to write an essay while strictly adhering to the below-mentioned topics and submission guidelines.

Topics

Authors may select any one of the following topics for their essay:

Role of government during Covid-19 regarding prevention of cybercrime
Protection of women & cyber security law
Cyber security in digital india

Submission Guidelines

The essay submitted should at least be 1500 words, but not more than 2000 words.
Essay submissions to be made on:
Subject line of the e-mail submission to be in the following format: “FOLSTD Essay Competition 2022 Submission with Name of the Essay and Full Author Name.
Submission e-mail is required to have attached the Essay in the following formats:
- Word Document and
- PDF

Eligibility

All students pursuing under-graduate (three/five years) Indiadiscipline or post-graduate law degrees from any law school/university/college recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the Essay Competition.
