About the Job

DPDP Consultants is hiring Data Protection Consultants for its Mumbai office. The role involves working on privacy compliance projects, conducting assessments, supporting implementation of privacy frameworks, and advising clients on data protection obligations under the DPDP Act and global frameworks such as GDPR.

Eligibility

• Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Data Protection, Privacy, IT Compliance, or Information Security may apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute data protection and privacy compliance projects aligned with the DPDP Act and GDPR
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Business Activity Assessments, and risk evaluations
• Assess client privacy posture and recommend remediation strategies
• Design and implement data principal rights management frameworks and processes
• Collaborate with technology and compliance teams to integrate privacy into systems and workflows
• Monitor data processing activities for regulatory compliance
• Deliver privacy awareness training sessions within client organizations
• Stay updated on evolving privacy regulations and translate them into practical business solutions

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of the DPDP Act, GDPR, and privacy governance frameworks
• Experience in client-facing or consulting roles is preferred
• Ability to convert legal and privacy requirements into practical business processes
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong sense of ownership
