About National Law Fest 2.0

Law Fest 2.0 is a hybrid event that offers a wide range of legal activities to advance law students’ clinical abilities and practical knowledge. This series of events is being carried out at the university for the second time. The entire idea behind this event was to promote for the students, by students, from the student culture.

Crime Scene Investigation Competition

  1. The Competition is open to bona fide undergraduate students of recognized Colleges/Institutions/Universities who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree in Law i.e. 3 years LLB or 5-year Integrated or Honors’ LL.B Program with all combinations on a regular basis.
  2. Each team shall comprise of a maximum of 2 members. The number cannot be modified under any circumstances.
  3. A crime scene investigation competition is typically organized to assess participants’ skills in forensic analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
  4. Each team will be given a total of 15-20 minutes to visit the mock crime scene (or view provided images/videos) to examine and document the evidence.
  5. They will need to collect evidence (photos), take notes, and make sketches.
  6. Report writing- After the investigation, the participants will have a limited amount of time to write a report about their findings.
  7. Teams or individuals present their findings and conclusions to a panel of judges. Judges will evaluate the quality of the investigation, the accuracy of the analysis, the coherence of the conclusions, and the clarity of the presentation.

Important date

  1. Last Date of Registration- 28th October 2023 (extended)
  2. Last date for clarifications- 30th October 2023
  3. Last date to submit soft copies- 10th November 2023
  4. Last date to submit hard copies- 15th November 2023

Registration Fee

  1. The registration fee for one team is Rs. 2500/-
  2. Teams are required to complete their Registration by 28th October, 2023.
  3. The Registration Fee shall be payable through Online Transaction Mode and shall be made in favor of Shoolini University.
  4. NOTE- The Registration amount is exclusive of the accommodation charges.
  5. The Registration shall be done by filling up the Application Form available on Google Form and submitting an NOC provided by the Organisers duly attested.
