About the Job

The Prachay Group is seeking a Corporate Legal Manager to manage legal, compliance, and operational matters relating to its Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) business. The role involves handling fund documentation, regulatory compliance, investor onboarding, scheme launches, governance frameworks, and transaction-related legal work.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Age below 40 years.
• Strong understanding of:
  • SEBI AIF Regulations
  • Companies Act
  • RBI Regulations
  • Related regulatory frameworks
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Fund operations
  • Investor onboarding
  • Regulatory filings
  • Compliance management
• Strong communication, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all legal, compliance, and operational aspects of the Alternative Investment Fund business.
• Draft and review loan documents, debenture documents, security documents, public issue documents, and other transaction-related agreements.
• Manage end-to-end fund documentation, investor onboarding, scheme launches, and regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, the Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Develop, implement, and periodically review policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks for the fund.
• Coordinate with trustees, custodians, auditors, consultants, law firms, and regulatory authorities.
• Handle employment-related legal matters, including contracts and policies.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary compliance measures.
• Support corporate governance, regulatory audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
