Founded on the vision of Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, the Institute of Law, Nirma University (ILNU), established in 2007, focuses on bringing about a paradigm shift in the delivery of legal education in the country. It aims to add newer dimensions in legal education that would incorporate international standards and provide an environment for innovation and dynamic scholarship. About the Quiz Committee

“Knowledge is power, information is liberating and education is the premise of progress in every society.”

 With the same vision, the Institute’s quiz committee works to keep students informed of all global events while also adding a sense of fun through quizzes. The year 2015 marked the beginning of the ILNU Quiz Committee’s existence as the Institute of Law, Nirma University’s recognized quizzing committee. It was a pathfinder in establishing a strong and advanced quizzing culture within the college. The committee organizes a number of quizzes to spread the quiz culture inside the institute through a number of activities both on and off campus. Every day, efforts are made in this direction, and the forthcoming edition of the event hopes to be even bigger and better.

About the Event

To continue the legacy of the CONQUIZ, the Quiz Committee is conducting CONQUIZ 2.0 with the theme of “India during Independence and its Constitutional aspects” which will be conducted on 10th February 2024 (Saturday) through online mode by Google Forms.

The CONQUIZ 2.0 shall be open for all individuals nationwide, the only pre-requisite being an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and that kick of adrenaline when they see a challenging question. The quiz is organized to create awareness amongst the Indian citizens about the Constitution and its special features, as enshrined in the Constitution. This quiz competition is an attempt to provide a platform where aspirants of law can enhance their knowledge.

Guidelines

• The competition is open for everyone.
• Only individual registrations are allowed (No Team Registration).
• The quiz will be conducted online via Google Forms.
• There will be a total of 30 Questions (25 MCQs and 5 Subjective).
• The time limit for attempting is 10 minutes.
• The participants can participate through Mobile Phones, smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, etc.
• The quiz should be attempted from the registered e-mail id.
• All details in the registration form must be properly mentioned as the same will be used for certificate purposes.
• The participants are advised to have seamless internet connectivity. In case a participant logs out or disconnects from the quiz at any time due to poor internet connectivity or otherwise, the organizers will NOT entertain any complaints regarding connectivity.
• The Organizers have the sole discretion to enforce, clarify, and interpret the rules; resolve any disputes that may arise during the Competition and have the power to change/supplement the rules if any changes or supplements are necessary.
• In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the Quiz Committee, Institute of Law, Nirma University would be final.

Marking Scheme

• + 5 for each correct answer
• No negative marking.
• The one who scores the highest will win.
• In case of a tie, the participant who submits the quiz earlier will be preferred.

Prizes

• Winner: Cash Prize of Rs.1500 + Certificate of Excellence
• Runner-up: Cash Prize of Rs.1000 + Certificate of Excellence
• 2nd Runner-up: Cash Prize of Rs.500 + Certificate of Excellence

• 15th February, 2024 – Results
