Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) is a prestigious legal education institution in India. About the Conference
The conference aims to bring together students, scholars, and professionals to explore critical issues surrounding women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights. Through thought-provoking panel discussions, it will delve into key themes such as progressive legal reforms, gender justice, role of technology in detection, awareness and education, intersectional approaches to feminism and LGBTQIA+ advocacy, and the need for inclusive policies.
The event aspires to generate impactful policy suggestions, raise awareness on pressing gender related challenges, and create meaningful networks to drive long-term change and collaboration in the pursuit of equality
and justice.

MNLU Mumbai calls for paper on A Global Conference on Technology, Crime and Transformative Justice for Gender Equity with following sub-themes:
- Role of Technology and AI in gender inclusivity
- Legal and Social Reforms for Women’s and Children’s Rights
- Gender neutrality in sexual violence
- Gendered harassment on social media and associated cyber crimes
- Inclusivity and Gender Neutrality in Policy and Governance

Publication
- Selected papers will be published in the Special Issue of IUP Journal of Corporate Governance.
- Some selected papers will be published in NALSAR Journals
- Also planning to release an Edited volume of the conference proceedings with ISBN number from reputed publisher.
General Guidelines
- Papers should be original and unpublished works.
- Co-authorship of a maximum of two people is allowed.
- The manuscripts shall be written in English language only.
- Papers submitted on or before the time line shall only be considered.
- All abstracts and final manuscripts shall be submitted in MS Word format.
- The paper presentation will be held in hybrid mode on the date of the conference.
Abstract Submission
An abstract with a word limit of 250 words along with 5 keywords shall be submitted.
The selected abstracts shall be intimated to the author(s)
Full Paper Submission
- The maximum limit of the final manuscript shall be between 3000 to 5000 words excluding the abstract and the footnotes.
- The first page of the manuscript should only contain the title of the paper followed by 250 words abstract.
- Submissions should be in Times New Roman, font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing, justified text
- Footnotes should conform to the 21stEdition of The Bluebook ‘Uniform System Of Citation’ Rules
- For submissions involving empirical research, authors must submit relevant datasets along with the article.

- Conference Dates: 3rd and 4th October 2025
- Last date for Abstract submission: 31st August 2025
- Date for communication of Abstract selection: 8th September 2025
- Last date for payment of registration fees for selected abstracts: 22nd September 2025
- Date for presentation of papers: 3rd &4th October
- Submission of final draft of selected papers after presentation: 13th October 2025.
- Date for beginning of peer review process: 20 October 2025
