About the Conclave
Concordia 2026 is an academic conclave organised by the Environmental Law Studies and Orientation Programme Committee in collaboration with the Management Studies and Incubation Start-Ups Committee, School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru.
Scheduled to be held on 4th and 5th September 2026 in a hybrid mode, the conclave seeks to provide an interdisciplinary platform for meaningful engagement on contemporary issues at the intersection of environmental governance, sustainability, business responsibility, and public policy.
Centred on the theme:
“The Environment Between Rights and Markets: Environmental Governance, Green Jurisprudence and the Sustainability Transition”
The conclave aims to bring together students and research scholars from diverse disciplines to explore emerging challenges and developments relating to:

- Original and unpublished research papers are invited.
- Authors should submit an abstract first.
- Selected abstracts will be notified before full paper submission.
- Papers should align with the conclave theme or any of the listed sub-themes.
- Paper presentations will take place during the conclave.

Interested participants must register using the conclave registration link/QR code provided by the organisers and submit their abstract before 15 August 2026. Authors whose abstracts are accepted must submit the final paper by 1 September 2026.
Registration Fee
The applicable registration fee for presenters shall be payable in two tranches: the first instalment upon acceptance of the abstract and the second upon completion of the final registration process. Unless otherwise notified, the registration fee shall be non-refundable.
