Chandigarh University Law Students Win 5th Anil Kumar Thakur Memorial National Debate
Mantej Singh and Ram Shankar Tripathi of the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University, secured first position at the 5th Anil Kumar Thakur Memorial National Debate Competition, organised by the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on October 30–31, 2026.
The competition focused on the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and whether it should be conducted. The duo advanced through the preliminary rounds, quarter-finals and semi-finals before winning the grand finale.
