Chanakya National Law University is seeking to engage one Research Assistant (Research Scholar) and one Field Investigator for its Ministry of Law and Justice, Commercial court Act, 2015 related project on a purely contractual basis.

It was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar as a public university dedicated to the field of legal education. The Chief Justice of Patna High Court is the ex officio chancellor of the university.

Project

Plan Scheme for Action Research and Studies on Judicial Reforms Project

Research Assistant (Law) – One post (01)

Qualifications: LL.M. or B.A.LL.B (Degree Holder)

• The candidate should be willing to assist collate, analyse and publish findings of the fieldwork, coordinate and organise events and undertake administrative or any other work, as part of the project.
• The candidate with LL.M. shall be preferred.

Place of Work: Patna, Bihar, India

Duration of the Appointment: 3 Months only (April. 2021-June.2021)

Honorarium: Rs. 12,000/- per month

Field Investigator (Law) – One post (01)

Qualifications: LL.M/LL.B

The candidate should be willing to carry out the fieldwork and would be required to visit the places in Bihar and Jharkhand as and when identified.

Duration of the Appointment: 03 Months (Jan 2020 – June 2020)

Honorarium: Rs.12,000/- per month

Extention

Both the positions shall be contractual and may be extendable by 1-2 months depending upon the services provided and the requirement of the project.
