About

IJLT is a bi-annual, student-edited, peer-reviewed, open-access law journal published annually by the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. IJLT is the first and only law journal in India devoted exclusively to the study of the interface between law and technology. The Journal as per its mandate places an emphasis on a developing country perspective or a comparative approach that benefits the developing world.

Important Guidelines

  1. The deadline for submission of unsolicited manuscripts is 31st October, 11.59 PM.
  2. All submissions to IJLT must conform to the Objectives and Mandate of the Journal.
  3. A manuscript may be co-authored by a maximum of 3 people.
  4. All manuscripts submitted to IJLT must be original and must not have been published elsewhere.
  5. In the event that a manuscript submitted to IJLT has been submitted and accepted by any other journal, the author must withdraw their submission from IJLT. If IJLT accepts the manuscript first, the author must withdraw it for consideration from all other Journals. Failure to do so will lead to the removal of the piece from consideration for publication in IJLT.
  6. After the first publication of a manuscript with IJLT, permission for any subsequent publication in another forum must be obtained from IJLT’s Board of Editors.
  7. All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected, the Editorial Board reserves the right of rejection of the same.
  8. Authors are required to obtain written permission for the use of any copyrighted material in the manuscript and must communicate the same to the Journal. Such material may include tables, charts etc. Acceptance of publication in the Journal implies acceptance of the copyright transfer and other terms in the IJLT Author Agreement.
  9. IJLT does not accept any fees from authors for publication.
