About the Competition

It is inviting original and analytical articles on various themes related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).

Eligibility

– Open to all undergraduate law students (3-year or 5-year courses) from recognised law schools in India.

– Legal professionals are not eligible for the writing competition, but can attend the workshop.

Theme

The broad theme is the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, with suggested sub-themes including but not limited to:

– Intersection of IBC with other laws (RERA, PMLA, Competition Act, etc.)

– Transparency in Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and the 2025 IBBI Amendments

Submission Categories

  • Single authorship
  • Co-authorship (maximum 2 authors)

Prizes

  • Top 3 submissions: Internship opportunity at a reputed law firm
  • Top 5 submissions: Publication on the official website
  • Certificates of Merit to Top 10

Formatting Guidelines

  • Word limit: 2500–3500 words(excluding footnotes)
  • Font: Garamond | Size: 12 (text), 10 (footnotes)
  • Citation: Bluebook 21st ed.(Footnotes only)
  • File Format: .doc/.docx only (no PDFs)
  • Anonymity: No identifying info in the article file
  • Abstract: 150–200 words

Selection Guidelines

  • All articles undergo Turnitin plagiarism check
  • Submissions with plagiarism above 15% (excluding citations) will be disqualified
  • No AI-generated content beyond grammar/rephrasing tools allowed

  • A Google Form link will be emailed to participants after registration for submission

  • Last date for Article Submission: 30th October, 2025
