About ICCHR

Indian Centre for Child and Human Rights (ICCHR) is an initiative by the Truth & Youth and Umeed NGO at its inception in 2021, aimed at promoting research and facilitating students and researchers with a proper understanding of Child and Human rights. The Centre is a national research center under the supervision of UNICEF India and provides integrated technical support to legal institutions of governance at the local, state, and national levels for the protection of child and human rights through knowledge, research, and resources.

About National Blog for Child and Human Rights

ICCHR National Blog for Child and Human Rights is a national blog platform dedicated to promoting and protecting Human and Child Rights through informed discourse, research, and awareness campaigns. The Blog works towards providing a multidisciplinary perspective on contemporary issues concerning child and human rights of national and international importance. It is established as part of ICCHR’s mission to promote research and facilitate a better understanding of child and human rights. The blog serves as a platform for sharing information and creating awareness about the current issues affecting children and human rights in India and globally. It is accessible at www.blog.icchr.in and serves as a platform for insightful discussions, informative articles, and thought-provoking perspectives on contemporary issues related to Child and Human Rights.

Senior Editor

Senior Editors would be responsible for resolving the issue of Associate Editors and Section Editors, Rolling out calls for Blogs/Publications, and publishing Articles/Blogs on the website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students in 4th/5th year of  5 years B.A. LL.B./B.Com. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B./B.Sc. LL.B. or 3rd year of 3 years LL.B. or LL.M. program under any BCI approved University or College is eligible to apply.
  • The candidate should have excellent research and writing skills.
  • The candidate must be proficient in English.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member under the supervision of the Managing editor.
  • The candidate must have at least 2 years of Editorial or Research experience in any Institutional or National Blog or Journal or Research Centre.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute

Opening

3 Senior Editors

Associate Editors

Associate Editors are responsible for reviewing and selecting articles for publication in their respective subject areas. They will typically work with the Senior Editors to make decisions about which articles to publish and to provide feedback to authors on their submissions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students in 2nd/3rd year of  5 years B.A. LL.B./B.Com. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B./B.Sc. LL.B. or 2nd year of 3 years LL.B. program under any BCI approved University or College is eligible to apply.
  • The candidate should have excellent research and writing skills.
  • The candidate must be proficient in English.
  • The candidate must have at least 1 year of Editorial or Research experience in any Institutional or National Blog or Journal or Research Centre.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member under the supervision of the Managing editor.

Opening

6 Associate Editors

Section Editors

Section Editors are responsible for overseeing a particular section of the journal, such as a special issue or a regular feature. They will typically work with the EIC, ME, and AEs to select articles for publication in their section and to provide feedback to authors on their submissions

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students in 1st/2nd year of  5 years B.A. LL.B./B.Com. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B./B.Sc. LL.B. or 1st year of 3 years LL.B. program under any BCI approved University or College is eligible to apply.
  • The candidate should have excellent research and writing skills.
  • The candidate must be proficient in English
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member under the supervision of the Managing editor.
  • Candidates having prior Editorial or Research experience are preferred.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute
