The CCMDR Blog serves as an online platform for informed, accessible, and meaningful writing on conflict management, dispute resolution, and access to justice.

Scope of Submissions

It welcomes contributions that connect academic inquiry with practical experience. Submissions may engage with, but are not limited to:

  • Mediation, arbitration, negotiation, conciliation, and other forms of ADR.
  • Online and technology-assisted dispute resolution (ODR).
  • Restorative and community-based dispute resolution approaches.
  • Commercial, family, workplace, consumer, and public dispute resolution.
  • Institutional developments, recent judicial/legislative/policy updates, and comparative/international perspectives.

Categories of Submissions

  • Opinion pieces grounded in reasoned analysis.
  • Case comments and case notes.
  • Contemporary developments and institutional updates.

General Guidelines & Formatting

  • Word Limit: 1,200 to 1,800 words (excluding title, author biography, and hyperlinks).
  • Authorship: Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of two authors.

Eligibility

  • Open to students, researchers, academicians, legal practitioners, mediators, arbitrators, and policy professionals.
  • Formatting Requirements: Times New Roman, 12pt font, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and 6pt paragraph spacing before and after.
  • Citation Style: Hyperlinks should be used as the primary method of referencing. Footnotes should be avoided unless exceptionally necessary and must follow OSCOLA (5th Edition).
  • Originality & AI Policy: The similarity index must ordinarily not exceed 10%. AI-generated content must not exceed 15% of the manuscript.

  • Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format through the official submission channel/email.
