Manipal University Jaipur forayed into the field of legal education by introducing Five-year Integrated BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB (Hons.), Bachelor of Law (LLB), Master of Law (LLM), and Ph.D. programs. As an institution of excellence and a leading university in Rajasthan, Manipal University Jaipur is dedicated to providing students with a world-class education in the field of law. All the programs at the Faculty of Law are designed as a highly flexible Learner Centric Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) aligned with UGC and NEP guidelines and in compliance with BCI regulations.
About the Call for Blogs
In keeping up to create an invigorating platform for constitutional discussion, we are pleased to invite submissions from students, scholars, professionals, and anyone with an interest in the Constitution of India, which is a living testament to our collective aspirations, values and vision. The submission must be analytical and thought-provoking and not merely a descriptive essay.
It is particularly interested in contributions that analyse how the Constitution responds to modern challenges, as well as recent Supreme Court and High Court decisions that had or will have a potential impact as citizens. All the submissions must be made keeping in mind the following guidelines:
Eligibility
Open to all.
Theme
Any content that is related to the intersection of constitutional law with humanities and social sciences, or raises awareness about the same, whether in theory or in practice, is eligible for submission to the Blog. The submission must not be opinion pieces, explainers and how-to-pieces.
Submission Procedure
Submissions shall be accepted on a rolling basis and must be submitted via google form:

Submission of the Blog must be in .doc/.docx format and the file must be named “Title of the Blog_MUJLawBlog”. The short title must capture the essence of the submission and must not be longer than twenty words. The submission document should not contain the name or institutional affiliation of the author, or any information that may disclose the identity of the author and hamper the review process.
A separate Title page should be attached which must contain:
- A brief informative title that should not contain abbreviations.
- The full names of the authors and their institutional affiliations.
- Acknowledgements, if any.
- Co-authorship of up to 2 authors is allowed.
- Upon acceptance of the submission, the copyright over the manuscript is vested with the Blog.
Plagiarism and the Author Agreement
The submission should be original, exclusive, and unpublished, and should not be under review by any similar platform. Cross-publication will not be allowed. Non-adherence to this rule shall result in a rejection of the submission, irrespective of its quality.
All submissions will be screened for plagiarism and AI writing. A maximum similarity index of 10% is permitted and in no case a submission shall exceed this limit. In violation of the same, the School of Law, MUJ reserves the right to disqualify the author(s) from making any future submissions for any of its publications or any further action as it deems fit.
The author is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of statements of facts, opinions or views in the submission. Submissions should not contain any content that is offensive, abusive, derogatory or potentially defamatory.
Content and Formatting Guidelines
- The word limit for every submission must ideally be limited to 1500-2000 words, except in cases where the Editorial Board deems otherwise. Longer pieces may be published in instalments in consultation with the contributors.
- The title of the blog must be formatted in Times New Roman, Size 14, in All Caps and in Bold.
- The main body of the submission must be formatted in Times New Roman, Size 12, and with 1.5 Line Spacing and single line space between paragraphs.
- All references must be in the form of hyperlinks in the body of the submissions.
- Timeline for Review: The Editorial Board shall respond to the authors with an acceptance/rejection/acceptance subject to the modification, within 15 days from the date of receipt of submission.
- Disclaimer: Not accepting a submission for the publication on the MUJ Law Blog is no comment on its quality, but purely a subjective assessment of how well it fits with our vision for the Blog.
