About National Law University, Delhi

The National Law University, Delhi is among India’s leading law universities, ranked second in the National Institutional Ranking Framework for the last two years. The University offers a five-year integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons.), and one-year postgraduate master’s in law (LL.M), along with professional programs and certificate courses for nonlawyers. Through the All India Law Entrance Test, the university admits 123 students into the B.A., LL.B (Hons.) course and 81 students into the LL.M course.

Eligibility

• LL.M. or relevant master’s degree in Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Science and Technology from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is
• followed), and a good academic record.
• For those applying with a relevant Masters’s degree in Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Science and Technology/ Engineering, there must be a clear and demonstrable track record of interdisciplinary research involving the law.
• Ph.D. degree desirable.
• Applicants in this category should not have qualified for their first undergraduate degree before 01-01-2018

Note: The possession of specialization on part of the applicant shall be majorly judged on the basis of LL.M. Dissertation/ Publication Profile/ Doctorate Degree thesis topic.

Responsibilities

Fellows are expected to assist research work, in relevant areas in consultation with the University. They shall also be expected to contribute to other academic/ administrative pursuits in the University.

Salary

INR 50,000 per month (consolidated)
