The Centre for Consumer Rights and Marketing (CCRM) at Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad was established in 2019 to advocate consumerism, foster awareness of redressal mechanisms, and provide valuable education in consumerism and marketing to students of SLS Hyderabad and other academic institutions. The Centre was founded to understand the multifaceted dynamics within buyer and seller relationships and works on raising consumer awareness and promoting responsible marketing practices. By focusing on these two essential components, the Centre aims to cultivate effective entrepreneurial development.

About the Event

The Centre for Consumer Rights and Marketing (CCRM) is pleased to announce BLAWG’24 – an inter-college blog writing competition focused on enhancing knowledge and understanding of Consumer Rights and Marketing

  • Date: Submission Deadline – 2nd November 2024
  • Time: Until 11:59 PM

Objective

The event aims to engage participants in exploring various aspects of consumer rights and marketing, encouraging them to research, analyze, and articulate their understanding through blog writing. This initiative seeks to foster deeper insight and awareness among students about legal frameworks and marketing strategies impacting consumers

Eligibility

  • Open to students who are:
  • Pursuing an integrated 5-year LL.B. programme in India; or
  • Pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme in India
  • Pursuing an LLM or equivalent program in India

  • Registration Link: Participants can register via a Google Form. The registration closes on 26th October 2024 at 11:59 PM.
  • Blogs must be submitted via the official CCRM email ([email protected]) on or before 2nd November 2024.
  • No registration fee: The event is free for all participants, encouraging broader participation.
  • Word Limit: Each blog should be no more than 1000 words.
  • Plagiarism Policy: A maximum of 10% plagiarism is allowed. Content should be original and well-researched.

Evaluation

Blogs will be evaluated by a panel of senior members from the Centre for Consumer Rights and Marketing alongside the faculty in charge. Key aspects that will be assessed include:

  • Depth of analysis
  • Originality
  • Coherence
  • Relevance.

  • Runner’s-up Rs. 500
