About the Opportunity

The Department of Law and Governance, Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), in collaboration with the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) and IIC-Innovation Council, CUSB, invites submissions for the 2026 edition of AVINYA – the annual Cross Continental Conference on Intellectual Property Rights.

This year’s conference is aligned with the World Intellectual Property Day 2026 theme: “IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate!” – celebrating the dynamic intersection of sports, creativity, and intellectual property in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

Scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students are invited to submit abstracts for paper presentations. Submissions may address any aspect of intellectual property law, policy, history, and innovation.

• Line Spacing: 1.5
• Maximum Authors: Up to 3 authors
• Language: English only
• Submission Mode: Online via Google Form
• Plagiarism: Must be original and unpublished

• Word Limit: 4,000 – 8,000 words (including footnotes)
• Citation Style: Bluebook / OSCOLA / Indian Law Institute
• Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, Justified
• Headings: Bold and numbered (1, 1.1, etc.)
• Include Abstract (250–300 words) & Keywords (5–7)
• Author details on a separate title page
• Blind review process (no identification in main paper)
