About the Job
Mind Merchants is hiring for the position of Associate Manager – Legal for its Bengaluru office. The role involves handling commercial contracting, obligation management, and supporting business teams with legal guidance.
Eligibility
- LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized Indian university
- Minimum 5+ years of in-house legal experience (preferably in IT/Tech MNC)
- Strong understanding of obligation management and/or post-contract obligations
- Experience in contract lifecycle management (CLM)
- Exposure to international contracting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with ownership and urgency
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, MoUs, lease agreements, etc.)
- Partnering with business, HR, finance, and operations teams to provide legal support
- Managing contract lifecycle and maintaining documentation
- Tracking legal and regulatory developments and assessing business impact
- Liaising with insurers, auditors, external counsel, and other stakeholders
