About the Job
Regstreet Law Advisors is expanding its Financial Regulatory and Dispute Resolution practice and is looking to onboard Senior Associates and Associates.
The role involves advising clients on regulatory frameworks governed by SEBI, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), and the Companies Act. The work includes assisting clients with registration, licensing, and compliance requirements applicable to financial sector intermediaries.
Eligibility
- Senior Associates – 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Associates – 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Candidates with experience in the following areas are preferred:
- Financial regulatory advisory and capital markets regulation
- Registration and compliance of intermediaries such as Investment Advisers, Research Analysts, AIFs, FPIs, Brokers, Portfolio Managers and similar entities
- Regulatory enforcement, investigations, inspections, and settlement proceedings
- White-collar regulatory matters and commercial litigation
- Drafting, pleadings, legal research, and transactional documentation
- Exposure to proceedings before the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), High Courts, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), or other regulatory forums will be an advantage.
