About the Job
Hiring for an Associate in the General Practice Department.
Eligibility
- LLB (3 years or 5 years) with 2+ years of experience as a general practice lawyer in a small or mid-sized law firm.
- Handled a variety of real estate, debt recovery, insolvency and bankruptcy, general corporate, general litigation, etc.
- Experience in Carrying out legal research, drafting pleadings, prosecuting cases, briefing counsels, appearing before different courts and tribunals, drafting legal notices, drafting agreements, and all ancillary tasks associated therewith.
- Above average academic credentials.
- Fluent in English.
- Team worker, highly motivated, and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India
Responsibilities
- Associate/Senior Associate in the General Practice Department.
- Worked as part of a team on interesting cases involving general litigation, real estate, private clients, general corporate, insolvency and bankruptcy, debt recovery, etc.
- Carrying out legal research, drafting pleadings, prosecuting cases, briefing counsels, appearing before different courts and tribunals, drafting legal notices, drafting agreements, and all ancillary tasks associated therewith.
- Travel across India as and when required.
