About the Job

CSG Legal is seeking to hire an Associate for its Electricity Regulatory Litigation practice in New Delhi. The role offers an opportunity to work on complex and high-impact matters in the power and energy sector, involving regulatory disputes and proceedings before various electricity regulatory forums.

Eligibility

• Advocate with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Mandatory prior experience in electricity regulatory litigation.
• Strong drafting, legal research, and advocacy skills.
• Experience appearing before Regulatory Commissions, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), and related forums will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft petitions, appeals, written submissions, rejoinders, and legal opinions in electricity regulatory matters.
• Represent clients and assist in proceedings before:
  • State Electricity Regulatory Commissions;
  • Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC);
  • Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL); and
  • Other judicial forums.
• Assist in strategy formulation and case management for complex regulatory disputes.
