About the Job

An opportunity is available for the position of Asso GBL – Legal & Compliance (L4) for locations in Mumbai and Pune, Maharashtra.

The role involves handling employment-related litigation and labour law compliance matters, primarily across western India.

Responsibilities

• Appear before various courts in western India on behalf of Wipro for employment-related litigations
• Interact with Labour Authorities for conciliation meetings regarding employment-related complaints
• Apply for and maintain registrations and licenses required for labour law compliance
• Follow up with authorities for expediting approvals and registrations
• File statutory returns and related artefacts under employment-related statutes
• Respond to inspections by government authorities
• Perform routine labour compliance checks for assigned locations
• Provide data and documentation for compliance audits conducted by clients
• Interact with client auditors during compliance reviews
• Undertake other compliance-related activities as assigned

Nature of Role

The position involves a mix of court appearances, regulatory interaction, statutory compliance management, and audit coordination, requiring regular engagement with government authorities and internal stakeholders.
