About the Job
PROBAY™ Limited is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Trademark.
The role involves assisting with Trademark Registration and Prosecution matters before the Indian Trade Marks Registry (IP India).
Eligibility
- LL.B. / CS / Graduate
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Practical knowledge of IP India Trademark e-filing and procedures
- Strong legal drafting and written English
- Experience with Examination Reports, Hearings, Oppositions, TM-A/TM-O and related matters will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conducting trademark searches and class identification
- Preparing and filing trademark applications, including TM-A
- Monitoring applications and IP India status
- Analysing Examination Reports and drafting replies
- Handling Show Cause Notices and Trademark Hearings
- Handling Opposition and Counter-Statement matters, including TM-O
- Managing evidence and related trademark proceedings
- Handling trademark renewals, assignments and related filings
- Coordinating with clients and managing cases/documents
- Conducting legal research under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Trade Marks Rules, 2017
