Eligibility

Assistant Law Officer

Applicants should:

• Be officers of Central/State Government, Union Territory, recognised research institutes, autonomous bodies, statutory bodies, or PSUs who:
  • Hold analogous posts on a regular basis; or
  • Have at least 5 years of regular service in posts in Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) of the Pay Matrix.
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university/institution.
• Have 4 years of experience as a legal practitioner or 4 years of experience handling legal work in a Government Department, PSU, autonomous body, or statutory body.

Legal Assistant

Applicants should:

• Be officers of Central/State Government, Union Territory, recognised research institutes, autonomous bodies, statutory bodies, or PSUs who:
  • Hold analogous posts on a regular basis; or
  • Have 3 years of regular service after appointment to a post on a regular basis in Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent.
• Possess a Degree in Law from a recognised university.
