Eligibility
Assistant Law Officer
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
- Must be an officer of the Central or State Government, Union Territory administration, recognised research institute, autonomous body, statutory body, or public sector undertaking (PSU).
- Must hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have at least five years of regular service in a post at Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (₹35,400–₹1,12,400).
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university or institution.
- Must have four years of experience as a legal practitioner or four years of experience handling legal work in a government department, PSU, autonomous body, or statutory body.
Legal Assistant
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

- Must be an officer of the Central or State Government, Union Territory administration, recognised research institute, autonomous body, statutory body, or PSU.
- Must hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have three years of regular service after appointment to a post at Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (₹35,400–₹1,12,400), or an equivalent level.
- Must possess a degree in Law from a recognised university.
Number of Vacancies
- Assistant Law Officer: 1 post.
- Legal Assistant: 5 posts.
