All you need to know about Gujarat Civil Judge 2023 Examination
Gujarat Civil Judge Examination is conducted by Gujarat High Court every year for recruitment of Civil Judge Cadre. Gujarat Civil Judge 2022 Exam for 219 vacancies (Mains Paper) has been conducted recently on 17nd July 2022 while its interview process has been lined up to be conducted on 09th October 2022.
Gujarat Civil Judge 2023 exam will be notified by the Gujarat High Court in the upcoming year & the 2023 exam notification shall be available on the website of the Gujarat High Court viz. https://www.gujarathighcourt.nic.in/

Gujarat Civil Judge 2023 Examination: Exam Pattern
The Gujarat Civil Judge 2023 exam is conducted in three stages namely Preliminary, Mains & Viva-voce. The details regarding these stages of the exam are as follows:

Preliminary Examination
- The Prelims Question Paper Examination shall consist of two Objective type question papers.
- There will be 100 questions for 100 marks (1mark Each) with negative marking of 0.33 Mark for each Wrong answer.
- Time Duration shall be 2 hours to attempt the paper.
- Candidates securing 50% or more marks in the Prelims Exams shall be eligible to appear for Mains Examination.
Mains Examination
- Mains Examination consists of two papers & shall be conducted in descriptive answer writing format with 3 hours allotted for each paper.
- Each of the Mains Exam question paper shall consists of 100 marks each (In Total).
- Language of Mains Paper I & II shall be English while answers may be given either in English or Gujarati
- The two question papers of Mains Exam shall consist of:
- Paper I: Criminal Law
- Paper II: Civil Law
Viva-Voce
Those candidates who clear Mains Exams shall be called for Viva-voce which constitute 50 Marks in Total. The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the main examination & viva-voce.
