AIBE-XX to be Held on November 30; Registrations Begin on September 29
The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced that the All India Bar Examination (AIBE-XX) will be conducted on 30 November 2025 across the country. The exam is compulsory for law graduates who wish to practice in Indian courts.
According to the official notification, online registration and fee payment will open on 29 September 2025. The last date to submit the registration form is 28 October 2025, while the fee payment window will remain open till 29 October 2025. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their applications until 31 October 2025.
The admit cards for the exam will be issued from 15 November 2025.
The BCI has fixed the passing criteria at 45% for General and OBC candidates, while candidates belonging to SC/ST and persons with disabilities categories will need 40% to qualify.
The AIBE is a national-level certification examination. Candidates who clear it are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ by the BCI, enabling them to practice law in India.
