About the Competition

The etymology of the event’s name is rooted in the vision M.K.E.S College of Law had while designing this annual law event. “Vidhigyaan” as they call it, is a ‘battle of justice put in practice’. M.K.E.S. College of Law is pleased to announce that the 8th National Moot Court Competition – “Vidhigyaan 2024” will be held on 03rd and 09th March 2024. The Competition has grown significantly over the seven editions, further encouraging them to organize this edition.

General Details

The 8th National Moot Court Competition is specially organized in a partially virtual and partially on-site mode. The Preliminary and Quarter Finals rounds which are scheduled to take place on 03rd March will be held ONLINE, whereas the Semi-Finals and Final round scheduled to take place on 09th March will be held ON-SITE, ie. at M.K.E.S. COLLEGE OF LAW, Mumbai.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in the 3 years or 5 years law course or its equivalent, conducted by any recognized law school/ college/ university/ institution for the academic year 2023-2024, are eligible to participate in the Competition. Any college/university/institution, whose students fulfill the eligibility criteria or for exceptional circumstances have been deemed by the Organisers to be eligible for this Competition, shall be entitled to send only ONE team to the Competition, subject to the completion of registration formalities as detailed in the ‘brochure’ to the Competition.

• Dates for Vidhigyaan 2024: March 03 and 09, 2024
• Last Date of Registration for the Competition: February 20, 2024.
• The last Date for Submission of Electronic Copies of the Memorials: is February 25, 2024.
• Exchange of Memorials: March 02, 2024

Registration Procedure

M.K.E.S. invites your esteemed institution to participate in the Competition by registering a team consisting of at least two and not more than three members. We would appreciate an e-mail confirmation of your institution’s participation in the Competition at the earliest.

Provisional registration (in case the team composition has not been determined), if not done yet, may be done at the earliest using the Google Forms link. Kindly direct all correspondence related to the Competition to [email protected].

Complete the fee payment and fill in the registration form thereby sending an email to the official Email ID to confirm your slot.

Upon verification of the fee payment with the University administration, the organizer shall confirm your participation in the Competition.
