The event provides law students with an engaging and competitive platform to enhance their legal awareness, analytical abilities and understanding of contemporary legal developments. The quiz brings together participants to test their knowledge of constitutional law, cyber law, environmental law, human rights, technology laws, current legal affairs and other emerging areas of law.

Eligibility

AQCL 2026 is open to undergraduate law students pursuing Five-Year Integrated LL.B. programmes and Three-Year LL.B. programmes. Students from all recognised law colleges and universities across India are eligible to participate.

Students pursuing postgraduate law programmes are not eligible to participate in the quiz.

Location and mode

The 8th Amity Quiz on Contemporary Law (AQCL) 2026 will be held in offline mode at Amity Law School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus.

Registration Procedure

Participants must register through the official registration portal:

• Participants are required to fill in the registration form with the requisite details.
• Non-Amitians are required to pay the prescribed registration fee electronically.
• Amitians can register without any registration fee.
• The registration fee is non-refundable.

• Non-Amitians: INR 590/- (INR 500 + 18% GST)
• Amitians: No Registration Fee

Prizes and Certificates

The event offers the following cash prizes:

• Winner: INR 9,999/-
• First Runner-Up: INR 3,100/-
• Second Runner-Up: INR 2,100/-
• Two Consolation Prizes: INR 1,100/- each

A Certificate of Participation will be provided to all eligible participants.

Important Notes for Participants

• The registration deadline is 27th August 2026.
• Non-Amitian participants are required to pay the prescribed registration fee of INR 590/-.
• The registration fee is non-refundable.
• The event will be conducted offline at Amity Law School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus.
• No accommodation or travel facility will be provided to participants
