About the Organisation

National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is a premier law institution in India, committed to academic excellence and the development of future legal professionals. We are excited to announce the 7th edition of the Arun Jaitley International Insolvency and Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition (AJIIBMC) organised under the aegis of the Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL). This prestigious event is supported by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RCAP), in collaboration with INSOL India and the Insolvency Law Academy.

About the Opportunity

The AJIIBMC is a prestigious moot court competition focused on insolvency and bankruptcy law, attracting participants from across India. The competition aims to provide law students with a platform to engage with the complexities of insolvency law, develop their advocacy skills, and interact with industry experts.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all law students enrolled in a 5-year integrated law course or a 3-year LLB program.

Theme

The theme for the 7th edition is ‘Corporate Insolvency, including Cross-Border Insolvency.’ Participants will delve into intricate issues surrounding corporate insolvency, with a focus on cross-border insolvency.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for the competition is 5000 Rupees. The payment can be made via this link. Upon completing the payment, please share the payment confirmation at [email protected].
