The National Service Scheme Units of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram is organizing the 6th All India Legal Quiz Competition ‘Boudhika 2024 on the National Law day.

About Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram

Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, established in 1875, is one of the oldest institutions imparting legal education in India. The college is currently celebrating its 150th year of excellence. It is affiliated with the Faculty of Law at the University of Kerala and is supervised and controlled by the Government of Kerala. The National Service Scheme (NSS) units of GLC, Thiruvananthapuram, unit no. 29 A and 29 B, also boasts a proud history of community service that spans over 50 years, beginning in 1969.

About Quiz Competition

Building on the success of the previous five All India Legal Quiz Competitions, the NSS unit of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, will be hosting the 6th All India Legal Quiz Competition, “BOUDHIKA 2024.”

General Details

• Date: 26th November 2024 (Constitution Day)
• Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Mode: Offline
• Venue: Seminar Hall, Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Eligibility

The competition is open to 3-year LL.B., 5-year LL.B., and other undergraduate, postgraduate, and Higher Secondary students under 25 years of age.

General Rules

• Each team must consist of 2 members.
• The last date for online registration is 22nd November 2024.
• Participants must bring their college ID or a permission letter from the head of the institution.

Awards

• The winner of the quiz competition will receive a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a certificate of merit.
• The first runners-up will receive a cash prize of Rs. 7,000 and a certificate of merit.
• The second runners-up will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and a certificate of merit.
• A certificate of participation will be awarded to all participants.

Registration Fee

Registration Fee: Rs. 300 per team.
