About NUJS

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) was established under the WBNUJS Act, 1999 (West Bengal Act IX of 1999) adopted by the West Bengal Legislature in July 1999. The University was notified under Clause (f) of Section 2 of the UGC Act, 1956, in August 2004 and has been granted permanent affiliation by the Bar Council of India in July 2005. NUJS has been awarded A+ accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2024.

About the Competition

The 5th CCI-NUJS National Competition Law and Digital Forensic Moot is a premier platform for law students to engage with evolving issues in competition law and digital forensics. Organised in collaboration with leading law firms and institutions, the competition challenges participants to analyse complex legal scenarios while honing their advocacy, research, and forensic investigation skills.

Eligibility and Team Composition

1. The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bona fide at the time of the competition on a regular basis in an undergraduate LL.B. degree programme (either 3 years LL.B. or 5 years LL.B.) or its equivalent conducted by any recognized Institution/College/University in India. Students enrolled in postgraduate or diploma programmes are not eligible to participate.
2. Each Team shall comprise a minimum of 2 (two) and maximum 3 (three) members. In case of a three-member team, two members of the Team shall be designated as Speakers and the third member shall be designated as the Researcher. In case of a two-member team, both members shall be designated as Orators.
3. Any additional member or Team Coach accompanying a Team shall not be recognized and will not be entitled to a certificate for the Competition.

• 10 Oct 2025: Last date for registration for memo qualifier round and payment
• 15th October 2025: Deadline for submission of memorials
• 30th October 2025: Announcement of Results of memo qualifier round
• 4th November 2025: Last date for registration of Oral Rounds
• 14th November 2025: Opening Ceremony and Exchange of memorials for preliminary rounds
• 15th November 2025: Preliminary and Quarter Final Rounds
• 16th November 2025: Semi-Final Rounds, Finale Round and Valedictory Ceremony
