About the Tamil Nadu National Law University

Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu by an Act of State Legislature (Act No. 9 of 2012) to provide quality legal education at the global level. TNNLU is the brainchild of the former Honble Chief Minister Dr. J Jayalalithaa who laid its foundation stone on 13th February 2012.

TNNLU is located in 25 acre campus in the Tiruchirappalli-Dindigul NH 45, at Navalurkuttappattu Village, about 12 kilometres from Tiruchirappalli Railway Junction / Central Bus Stand. Tiruchirappalli, known as Rock Fort City, is well connected by road, rail and air. Trichy has daily flights from Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Kochi. Madurai, a well-connected airport, is a hour and half by road from TNNLU.

About the Competition

Tamil Nadu National Law University in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India is set to conduct the 4^th TNNLU-CCI National Online Moot Court Competition, 2021.

This year, the number of teams will be capped at 24 out of which 16 teams will proceed to the oral rounds after a memorial-elimination round. We cordially invite institutions to provisionally register for the Moot.

Eligibility

Law students duly enrolled in the 3-year LL.B. courses or 5-year integrated LL.B. courses may apply to participate in the Competition. Only one team per Institution/University can participate in the Competition.

Team Composition: 3 Members (2 Speakers and 1 Researcher) or 2 Members (2 Speakers)

Institutions/teams are invited to provisionally register by sending an email to [email protected].  The brochure containing the moot problem, registration form, rules of the competition will be released as per schedule.
