 About the Opportunity 

In order to develop critical thinking on various social –legal issues, the Debating Society, Department of Law, Quantum University, Roorkee, is organizing 4 th Edition of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial All India Youth Parliament & Model United Nations on April 28 th and 29 th,2026

This is a two-day academic simulation of parliament designed to develop critical thinking on socio-legal issues. It includes five distinct committees:

• Lok Sabha
• All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM)
• United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
• United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)
• International Press

Themes

Eligibility

• The event is open to bona fide, full-time students enrolled in any degree program at a College, University, or Institution.
• Students from 8th to 12th standard in schools are also eligible to participate.

Registration Fees

• Without Accommodation: ₹1,200/-.
• With Accommodation: ₹2,500/- (limited to the first 20 students who opt for it)

Important Dates

• Last Date of Registration: 20th April 2026.
• Event Dates: 28th and 29th April 2026

• International Press: Roles for Journalists, Photographers, or Caricaturists.
• Lok Sabha: Deliberation on Labour Laws (Workplace Safety, Wage Protection, Social Security).
• All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM): Deliberation on UGC Regulatory Authority and reforms.
• United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC): Right to privacy in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
• United Nations General Assembly (UNGA): Impact of Trade Wars and Tariff Escalation on global growth.
