About Al Ameen Law College
Al Ameen Law College, Shoranur, Palakkad, Kerala, is one of the flagship institutions of the Al Ameen Educational Group. The competition is organised by the Al Ameen Moot Court Society, the official mooting body of the college, which aims to nurture advocacy skills, legal research, analytical reasoning, memorial drafting, and courtroom etiquette among aspiring legal professionals.

About the Opportunity
The Al Ameen Moot Court Society proudly presents the 4th Al Ameen National Moot Court Competition, 2026, to be held from 9th to 12th September 2026 at Al Ameen Law College, Shoranur, Kerala.
The competition offers law students a platform to showcase their legal research, memorial drafting, and oral advocacy skills while competing on contemporary constitutional and technology law issues. The competition comprises a Memorial Evaluation Round, followed by Oral Rounds consisting of Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and the Final Round. A Researcher’s Test and Interview will also be conducted. Only the top 12 teams, selected through memorial evaluation, will qualify for the oral rounds.
Eligibility
The competition is open to students pursuing either a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year Integrated LL.B. programme from any recognised University, College, or Law School.
Theme
The moot proposition focuses on contemporary issues involving constitutional law and technology law, including:
- AI-generated content and deepfakes
- Government regulation of digital platforms
- Algorithmic transparency and accountability
- Digital privacy and data protection
- Freedom of speech and expression
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Right to Information and algorithmic governance
Team Composition
- Two Speakers
- One Researcher
More than one team may participate from the same institution. However, all members of a team must belong to the same institution.
Registration Fee
- ₹5,000 – Without Accommodation
- ₹6,000 – With Accommodation
Accommodation (for teams opting for it) will be provided from 12:00 PM on 9th September 2026 until 12:00 PM on 12th September 2026. Food and transportation between the accommodation and the competition venue will also be provided for all three registered team members.

- Winner: ₹50,000
- Runner-up: ₹30,000
- Best Speaker: ₹10,000
- Best Memorial: ₹5,000
- Best Researcher: ₹5,000
Total Prize Pool: ₹1,00,000
