About the SHRI N J YASASWY 2nd National Moot Court Competition, 2023

The primary objective of this moot court is to elevate the quality of clinical legal education in India. It seeks to nurture the growth of participants’ advocacy skills, enhance their legal research abilities, and promote critical thinking. The competition offers a distinct platform for aspiring lawyers to showcase their proficiency in debating complex legal issues and engage with legal professionals and scholars. ICFAI Law School’s Moot Court Committee ensures that students gain as close to a real-world understanding of money laundering-related criminal procedures in the country as possible. The Moot Court Competition is scheduled to occur in an offline format in the month of November 2023.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in regular three-year, five-year, LLB, and LLM students from any University/ Law School/ College/ Department during the present academic year are eligible to participate in the Competition.

Registration Fee

  • Each Participating Team is required to pay:
  • With Accommodation – INR 5500/- (Five Thousand Five Hundred Indian Rupees)
  • Without Accommodation – INR 2,500/- (Two Thousand Five Hundred Indian Rupees) towards Registration via online account transfer.
  • In order to confirm the registration, confirm at [email protected] with the above-mentioned fees.

Prizes

  1. Winner Team: Cash Prize of INR 25,000/-
  2. Runners-up: Cash prize of INR 15,000/-
  3. Best Speaker: Cash prize of INR 5,000/-
  4. Best Researcher: Cash prize of INR 5,000/-
  5. Best Memorial: Cash prize of INR 5,000/-
