About CHRIST

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was born out of the educational vision of St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. He founded the first Catholic indigenous congregation, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) in 1831, which administers CHRIST (Deemed to be University). The graduate attributes of the instituion are focused on ‘Holistic Development’ or ‘whole person growth’ and is attained through academic excellence, professional competence, and personal, interpersonal and societal skills.

About the Event

The 2^nd National MOA & AOA and Contract Drafting Competition, 2025, organized by the Corporate Law Committee of the School of Law, Christ Deemed to be University, Pune Lavasa Campus, is a pioneering event in corporate law education. It provides a platform for legal enthusiasts nationwide to showcase their drafting skills in crafting Memorandum and Articles of Association, pivotal documents governing company operations.

Registration Fee

• Rs. 500 for individual participation for MOA & AOA Drafting Competition 
• Rs. 500 for individual participation for Contract Drafting Competition
• Rs. 600 for team (maximum of 2 members) participation for MOA & AOA Drafting Competition 
• Rs. 600 for team (maximum of 2 members) participation for Contract Drafting Competition
• Rs. 300 for attending workshop only

Prizes

For MOA & AOA Drafting Competition:

1. Winner – Rs. 8000/- + Certificate of Appreciation
2. Runner’s up – Rs. 4000/- + Certificate of Appreciation

For Contract Drafting Competition:

1. Winner – Rs. 8000/- + Certificate of Appreciation
2. Runner’s up – Rs. 4000/- + Certificate of Appreciation

Important Dates

The flow of the events will be followed as such mentioned below:

• Registration forms release date – 25^th March
• Release of Problem Statement – 30^th March
• Last date of registration – 11^th April
• Date of contract drafting workshop – 2^nd April
• Last date to submit drafts – 16^th April
• Declaration of results – 25^th April
