Corporate laws govern the rights, relations, and conduct of persons, companies, organisations, and businesses. India has a plethora of laws that govern corporate entities, along with various regulators and agencies that control their corporate activities. Presently, these laws, as well as the regulatory bodies, are constantly working towards ensuring ease of doing business while keeping in check the unscrupulous activities of corporate entities.

The Centre for Corporate Laws and Governance aims to act as a multidisciplinary forum for research, analysis, and discussion of various issues in corporate law and governance emerging from time to time in India and around the world.

About The Conference

Corporate law forms the backbone of modern business, defining how companies are constituted, governed, held accountable, and aligned with societal expectations. In today’s world,  robust governance mechanisms are no longer optional; they are vital to ensuring transparency, ethical conduct, and sustainable growth. It is pleased to invite you to be part of the forthcoming Conference, 2nd Corporate Law Summit 2026, on Corporate Law.

This distinguished gathering will bring together leading scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students to present research, exchange insights, and engage in solutions to pressing legal challenges. Through panels, case studies, and interactive sessions, we will explore innovations in the IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026, CIRP, PIRP and many more. Your participation would greatly enrich the dialogue and help shape the future of corporate law

Structure Of The Conference

A) Paper Presentation-The inaugural session will include a dedicated segment for paper presentations, affording law students, invited authors, academicians, practising lawyers, and subject‑matter experts the opportunity to share original research. We invite submissions addressing the diverse dimensions of the IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026, CIRP, PIRP and many more. These contributions are intended to deepen the discourse and shed light on practical, doctrinal, and policy challenges across these fields.

B) Panel Discussion- The IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026 marks an important development in India’s insolvency framework, seeking to strengthen the efficiency, predictability, and effectiveness of insolvency resolution. With significant implications for creditors, corporate debtors, resolution professionals, investors, and other stakeholders, the amendments raise important questions about the future direction of insolvency law in India. This panel brings together experts from industry, academia, legal practice, and policy to examine the key reforms introduced by the Amendment Act, their practical implications, and the challenges likely to arise in their implementation. The discussion will explore how the evolving framework can balance speedy resolution, creditor protection, value maximisation, and the interests of corporate debtors and other stakeholders, while strengthening India’s broader insolvency ecosystem.
